The CORAL REEF PROJECT

Hi, my name is Lucinda Johnson and I am a science teacher at C.I.S.339 in the Bronx, New York.

It is a pleasure to be working with you and your class. We are so excited!
The purpose of this research is to teach the children strategies to
protect endangered species, preserve habitats, reduce pollution, and
conserve the biodiversity of species in ecosystems.

My goal is to encourage my students to become life-long learners of
Conservation Biology. Hopefully, my students will learn that the
survival of living things on our planet depends on the conservation
and protection of environments.
